Tank Track provides address validation for all billing and property addresses entered on the property page.
After entering an address on either side of the property page, click out of the section to auto-save.
Then click VALIDATE. The validation process compares the US addresses you enter with the US Postal service address database. When a match is found, the system will enter the standard postal service abbreviations, the zip +4 zip code, and the county.
Addresses that are imported are automatically processed through the validation system. Manually entered addresses can be validated manually by clicking the VALIDATE button.
Once an address is validated on one side of the page, you can quickly copy it over to the other side of the page, if appropriate, to avoid double entry.
Additional Tips
Tank Track also provides address validation for your company's physical address on the Accounts Info page in Settings as well as for your waste site addresses in the Waste Sites tab.
