Scheduling an appointment is simple.
From the Property page, click or tap the SCHEDULE APPOINTMENT button.
Answer the question: “What needs to be done?” using the Products and Services drop down menu, which you already created in Settings.
Add Job Notes if you wish, then hit Next.
This places the job at the very top of the waiting area on the schedule, where it can be assigned to a particular day and truck at any time. The first step is to drag and drop the appointment box to the preferred date.
Then click the top of the chosen day to access the Day Schedule, where you will again find the job in the waiting area on the left. Then drag and drop the job to the truck of your choice.
That completes making an appointment and assigning it to a truck.
IF THE APPOINTMENT DATE IS KNOWN PRIOR TO ENTERING IT INTO TANK TRACK
If you already agreed to a specific service date prior to making a new appointment, the first two steps are the same. Just click the new appointment button and answer the question: "What needs to be done?".
Instead of clicking NEXT, you can enter the appointment date, time, and truck assignment, if desired, right on this screen.
Now clicking NEXT will bring you to the specific day you chose so that you can confirm that all details are correct.
