For technicians using paper forms in the field, Tank Track provides a quick way to select and print all necessary work orders, invoices, waste orders, and waste manifests.
Once all your truck routes on a given day are optimized around your waste stops, as in this case, it’s easy to print all required forms for your drivers.
Click the printer icon in the upper right corner of the day schedule.
Select which drivers and which content you wish to print.
Then click EXPORT OPTIONS to choose the forms to print. To print a work order and invoice for each of today’s appointments, select the third option.
You can also include a waste order for the technician and a waste manifest for the facility manager, for each waste stop.
These two boxes are sticky, which means they will stay either checked or unchecked permanently until you change them.
Two other export options are available.
Companies choosing to print their own custom letterhead can check the HIDE HEADING box. This will make sure the standard heading in the upper left corner of Tank Track’s printed invoices will be removed and Tank Track’s printed invoices will print around your custom letterhead.
The Handwrite Price Details option will remove the quantity, unit price and default price fields from your printed invoices to allow your technicians to handwrite the prices and add them manually in the field.
Once you have made your selections, you can create a PDF or output directly to your printer.
The printed output is organized to precisely follow the schedule.
You now have a work order and invoice for each job assigned to the first truck, in order, from morning to afternoon, followed by the next truck’s jobs, and so on.
A waste order and a waste manifest are included in the printed output precisely when each truck is ready to be emptied.
In summary, optimize your routes around your waste stops, print the selected forms for the entire day with just a few clicks, separate the pile for each truck, and give each technician his or her paperwork.
Now you and they are all ready to go!
