Tank Track’s "Service Contracts" feature (previously "Auto-Job") allows you to create a series of multiple appointments for your repeat commercial work, or any work related to service contracts where you have permission to perform the same tasks at a regular interval.
And you can schedule them as far into the future as you wish.
To enter the appointments for a service contract, go to the right-hand column of the Property page and click or tap SERVICE CONTRACT.
This produces the service contract form.
Complete the Service Contract Form
Use the Products and Services menu to add whatever needs to be done. This example will demonstrate a service contract to clean a grease trap once per week for 8 weeks.
Enter the frequency between appointments, in this case 1 week or 7 days. Add a start date. Add an End Date. If there is no specific end date known, select NONE and Tank Track will book these appointments far into the future and will display them for the next 13 months on a continuous rolling basis.
Select the preferred truck, if known. Add any needed job notes.
Note that this property currently has no appointments. That will change as soon as this service contract is saved.
Review the Results
Once the service contract form is saved, 8 new appointments appear on the property page, each with a sequential invoice number and weekly service dates, just as requested.
And now the schedule reflects the new weekly Saturday appointments for the next 8 weeks, as shown.
