Tank Track supports you with a variety of transactional email options to help you stay in touch with your customers.
Tank Track also provides you with a summary of every outgoing email sent on your behalf for quick reference.
This summary is found in the Email Send History on the Contact-Property page.
To activate email options, you must first agree to abide by thee email guidelines provided. Tank Track provides you with state-of-the-art transactional email support. All email functions must be used only with existing customers who have willingly shared their email address with you as described in the terms and guidelines.
Once you accept thee email terms, thee universe of email options will be available to you.
In section 2, you can customize your outgoing emailed invoices, receipts, and monthly statements.
Begin by clicking the activation checkbox.
Select your preferred email introduction.
Enter your payment terms from the choices provided.
Next, enter the number of days in which you allow customers to make timely payments after the billing date.
In the payment instructions section, enter specific instructions to pay by mail or by phone.
The Service Due Notice Section allows you to send up to 3 personalized service due notices by email automatically during the 30 days prior to the due date.
Begin by clicking the activation checkbox.
You can customize the number and timing of the emailed service due notices. You cannot send emails more frequently than every 7 days.
You can also choose to send one additional email after the service due date has passed.
All emails are sent at approximately 10:00 AM local time.
In section 4, you can activate the ability to email estimates to your customers.
Begin by clicking the activation checkbox.
Then select your desired intro option.
Section 5 allows you to email technicians their list of service addresses for each day in hyperlink form.
These addresses can then be tapped in order to activate the mapping program on their phone to provide audible turn by turn instructions to the next destination.
To turn on this option, just click the activation checkbox.
Be sure to click Save Changes before you leave this page.
A great way to test email options as you’re getting started is to enter yourself as a contact inside your Tank Track account using your own personal email address.
Then you can get familiar with Tank Track by creating appointments and estimates and by emailing invoices and receipts to yourself. This in turn will help you gain insight into your customer’s experience.
