Users

The “Users” page within SETTINGS is the place to add, modify, and delete users, as needed.

You can add as many users as you wish without additional cost.

Whoever opens a new Tank Track account is the Super-Administrator, who has the authority to manage all users and is automatically assigned full access to all parts of the program, as shown here in the Permissions section.

Adding a new user is easy.

Click the ADD NEW USER button and fill in his or her full name and User name with no spaces.

Add a unique email address and password for every user who will be accessing part or all of the system.

Please do not allow multiple users to login with the same credentials.

If a user is a technician, check the Technician checkbox, which will make their name available to be assigned to a truck.

If you want a technician to be eligible to receive an email copy of their appointment list for each day, then check the Send Routes by Email checkbox as well.

You must have the technician’s email address entered above to activate this option.

You can also assign specific permissions to access various parts of the program to each user based on skill level, trust level, and need to know.

Just make your selections in the permissions section.

Be sure to save changes for each user before you leave.

To delete a user, you must first ensure they are not assigned to any truck as a default driver.

As long as a user is not a default driver, the Delete button is active and the user can be deleted at anytime by anyone with the authority to do so.

To edit an existing user, just click their User box to open that individual’s profile and permissions. Make any needed changes and click SAVE.

To change any user’s password, enter the new password in both Password fields and click SAVE.
