The Upload Contact List section (previously (Setup Help") allows you to send your company data file to Tank Track quickly and securely for review as well as for uploading.
Your data file type should be a standard excel file or .csv (comma separated variable). You can export your data file from common accounting programs, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, and most other programs. The .csv format is the most common file type used for transferring data between programs.
The name of your data file should include your name and your company’s name.
To upload your company data file, click Browse to select your data file from your local machine. Then click Upload.
Once your upload is complete, you will see your file listed along with the upload date and time. Tank Track is automatically notified every time a file is uploaded.
If your contact list needs more than one review by Tank Track prior to importing, you can upload multiple versions and store them until no longer needed.
Tank Track's Model Import template is provided for easy download. It contains all of Tank Track's standard import fields, which you can use to rename the columns in your data file.
