Settings: 01. Account Info

The Account Info settings let you designate the physical and billing address of your headquarter(s), customize various unit measurements, and upload your company logo.

Confirm and Complete Account Information

Although most of your account information will be prepopulated with the information you provided during the signup process, you'll want to confirm and, if necessary, complete the information.

— Company Name

Confirm that your Company Name is accurate.

— Phone Number

Confirm that your Company Phone Number is accurate.

— Email Address

Confirm that your Company Email Address is accurate.

— GST Registration #

The GST Registration # is used by Canadian subscribers for tax purposes.

ℹ️ If you are not a Canadian subscriber, you may:

  • do nothing, and leave the GST Registration # field blank; or

  • rename the GST Registration # field to something else — such as State License # or State Registration # — to include in your company header.

— Billing Address

Confirm that your company billing address is accurate.

ℹ️ The billing address is visible to your customers: it is the address your customers will use to send you payments.

— Physical Address

Confirm that your company physical address is accurate.

ℹ️ The physical address is not visible to your customers: it is the address you use to designate the location where your trucks start and end the day.

Validate your address to confirm accuracy with the USPS (United States Postal Service).

ℹ️ If the physical address does not validate, you may use it anyway, as our mapping feature uses Google Maps instead of the USPS.

— Public Phone Number

Confirm that your company public phone number is accurate.

— Public Email Address

Confirm that your company public email address is accurate.

— Website

Confirm that your company website address is accurate.

ℹ️ If your company does not have a website, consider including a link to your company's social media site, such as Facebook or Google Business.

— Choose your Logo

Upload your company logo, which should be a high-resolution image.

ℹ️ Your company logo will appear on electronic communications — both email and text — sent to your customers.

Select your unit preferences.

— Address Validation

🔘 Select whether to display USPS addresses using either:

  • abbreviated street address suffixes, such as Rd. St., or Ave.; or

  • full street address suffixes, such as Road, Street, or Avenue.

— Time Zone

🔘 Select your time zone.

👆 Click the "Edit" link to enter a new password.

Create Additional Headquarters

You may create additional headquarters if your company operates multiple businesses or divisions.

ℹ️ This feature is especially helpful under the following situations:

  • Your existing septic business purchased another septic business, and you want to keep those businesses separate in your Tank Track account.

  • Your septic business has multiple divisions — such as septic and portables — and you want to keep those divisions separate in your Tank Track account.

If you create an additional headquarters, you'll enter separate information for that headquarters, including a distinct:

  • company name;

  • billing address;

  • physical address;

  • public phone number;

  • public email address;

  • website; and

  • company logo.

ℹ️ If you use multiple headquarters, you can easily:

  • import existing customers into a particular headquarters; and

  • bulk-assign existing customers to a particular headquarters.
