The Users settings let you add, edit, and delete users, together with customizing their access and delete permissions.

Add New User

You may add as many users to Tank Track as you want. There is no additional fee for additional users.

⚠️ We strongly encourage each user to have his or her own login credentials. Please do not allow users to share login credentials, as that practice creates critical security risks.

πŸ‘† Click the ADD NEW USER button to add a new user to your Tank Track account.

β€” Full Name Field

⌨️ Enter the full name of the user.

β€” User Name Field

⌨️ Enter the user name of the user.

🎯 Most Tank Track subscribers enter an abbreviated name or even the full name of the user.

β€” Email Address Field

⌨️ Enter the email address of the user.

ℹ️ Because a user needs an email address to log into Tank Track, each user is required to have his or her own unique email address. This means that a common or shared email address cannot be used.

β€” Cell Phone Field

⌨️ Enter the cell phone number of the user.

πŸ‘† Click the Turn On Texting button to activate the ability to text the user daily schedules and routes.

β€” Choose Password Field

⌨️ Enter a password for the user.

β€” Repeat Password Field

⌨️ Re-enter the password for the user.

β€” Color Field

β€” Technician Field

βœ… Check the "Technicians will appear in the drop down menus..." option to designate the user as a driver or field technician.

β€” Send Routes by Email Field

βœ… Check the "Check to authorize this driver to receive daily schedule info..." option to enable the driver or field technician to receive daily schedules and routes.

β€” Include Phone Numbers Field

βœ… Check the "Include phone numbers for each customer..." option to include customer phone numbers in the driver or field technician's daily schedules and routes.

Customize Access Permissions

You may customize a user's ability to view and edit information.

β€” Own Schedule and Invoices/View-Only Property Invoice History

  • View/Edit, to allow the user to:

    • view only his or her own schedule;

    • view and edit only his or her own invoices; and

    • view the related property information, including its invoice history.

  • View Only, to allow the user to:

    • view only his or her own schedule;

    • view only his or her own invoices; and

    • view the related property information, including its invoice history.

  • None, to restrict the user from:

    • viewing his or her own schedule, invoices, and related property information.

🎯 Most Tank Track subscribers select the View/Edit option because it allows the user to modify his or her own invoices to include additional required work.
