Checklist findings appear on invoices and receipts.

Adding Dependency Items to a Checklist
You may specify checklist items as dependency checklist items, which are checklist items that appear only when a specific response of a preceding primary checklist item is selected.
A dependency checklist item may be designated as either a Level 1 or a Level 2 Dependency.
ℹ️ Consider the following example of a primary checklist item.
Checklist Item Technician Notes | Response 1 (Single Response) | Response 2 (Single Response) |
Risers Present? | Yes | No |
Technician Notes | Risers present. | Risers not present. |
— Level 1 Checklist Item Dependency
✅ Select the "Add Level 1 Dependency" option to create a checklist item that should appear, depending on the selected response of a primary checklist item.
For example, if the primary checklist item Risers Present? is "Yes," you may want a Level 1 dependency checklist item to specify riser locations, such as:
Level 1 Checklist Item Name Technician Notes | Response 1 (Multiple Response) | Response 2 (Multiple Response) | Response 3 (Multiple Response) |
Riser Location(s) | Inlet | Center | Outlet |
Technician Notes | Inlet riser present. | Center riser present. | Outlet riser present. |
— Level 2 Checklist Item Dependency
✅ Select the "Add Level 2 Dependency" option to create a checklist item that should appear, depending on the selected response of a Level 1 Dependency checklist item.
For example, if any Level 1 checklist item responses are checked, you may want Level 2 dependency checklist items to specify the condition of each selected riser location.
In other words, if dependency checklist item Inlet is checked, you may want a Level 2 dependency checklist item to specify the condition of the inlet riser, such as:
Level 2 Checklist Item Name Technician Notes
| Response 1 (Single Response) | Response 2 (Single Response) | Response 3 (Single Response) | Response 4 (Single Response) |
Inlet Riser Condition | Excellent | Good | Fair | Poor |
Technician Notes | Inlet riser condition is excellent. | Inlet riser condition is good. | Inlet riser condition is fair. Replacement or repair may be required during the next service. | Inlet riser condition is poor. Replacement or repair is immediately required. |
If dependency checklist item Center is checked, you may want a Level 2 dependency checklist item to specify the condition of the center riser, such as:
Level 2 Checklist Item Name Technician Notes
| Response 1 (Single Response) | Response 2 (Single Response) | Response 3 (Single Response) | Response 4 (Single Response) |
Center Riser Condition | Excellent | Good | Fair | Poor |
Technician Notes | Center riser condition is excellent. | Center riser condition is good. | Center riser condition is fair. Replacement or repair may be required during the next service. | Center riser condition is poor. Replacement or repair is immediately required. |
And, if dependency checklist item Outlet is checked, you may want a Level 2 dependency checklist item to specify the condition of the outlet riser, such as:
Level 2 Checklist Item Name Technician Notes
| Response 1 (Single Response) | Response 2 (Single Response) | Response 3 (Single Response) | Response 4 (Single Response) |
Outlet Riser Condition | Excellent | Good | Fair | Poor |
Technician Notes | Outlet riser condition is excellent. | Outlet riser condition is good. | Outlet riser condition is fair. Replacement or repair may be required during the next service. | Outlet riser condition is poor. Replacement or repair is immediately required. |
Section 3: Technician Notes Style
🔘 Select whether the technician notes style formatting should consist of:
a bulleted list;
a bulleted list with line breaks; or
a paragraph.
🎯 Many Tank Track subscribers select the "bulleted list with line breaks" option because that format is the easiest for customers, especially elderly customers, to read.
Section 4: Assign Checklists to Services
Assign checklists to specified products and services (Section 8).
